Since the release of his debut film in 2015, director Robert Eggers has treated audiences to back-to-back hits The WitchThe Lighthouse and The Northman –refining his own unique brand of gothic, horror-tinged insanity. Here he takes on a remake of the F. W. Murnau classic from 1922, in turn based on Bram Stoker’s iconic book, Dracula; a tale of obsession between a haunted young woman and the terrifying vampire infatuated with her, causing untold horror in its wake.
