Alison Moyet has announced a huge European tour, including two dates in the East Midlands

Legendary British singer-songwriter and pop icon Alison Moyet is coming back to the East Midlands after announcing an extensive run of 2026 EU, UK and IE tour dates.

The 64-year-old artist and music veteran’s newest shows will see her performing tracks from her solo albums ‘The Minutes’ (2013) and ‘Other’ (2017), as well as songs from her time with Yazoo, the synth-pop duo she was in with Erasure’s Vince Clarke in the ’80s.

She has now announced dates in Buxton and Nottingham.

She said: “Many years touring the same pool of songs and I am keen for a palate refresher. Specifying which years I will be fishing from too, I think is a grand way to serve pot luck for specific tastes. No bones…”

Moyet released her latest album, ‘Key’, in 2024. The collection features reworked singles, fan favourites and deep cuts, as well as two new songs and was released in celebration of her 40th year as a solo artist. At the end of that year, she also put out the three-track EP ‘Live From The BBC Radio 2 Piano Room’.

Prior to her headline run, she’ll spend the summer supporting The Human League across North America alongside Soft Cell.

Alison Moyet will be playing Buxton Opera House on October 17, 2026 and Nottingham’s Royal Concert Hall on October 23, 2026.

An Artist Presale will begin at 10am on Wednesday, March 11 before any remaining tickets go on sale from 10am on Friday, March 13.
