Europe’s first-ever Slick City Action Park is coming to Nottingham this spring, bringing a massive 50,000 sq ft indoor slide and adventure park to the region.
The indoor amusement centre will be making its European debut in the East Midlands on Thursday, March 12, bringing 100 new jobs to the city in its wake.
Slick City, will be located on Redfield Road in Lenton, will be launching in partnership with indoor adventure park operator Activeon. The new 50,000 sq ft site marks Europe’s first standalone indoor slide park, and follows the international success of more than 95 Slick City sites already open or in development across 32 US states.
Bringing together a range of dry slides, air courts and family entertainment experiences under one roof, adrenaline junkies can enjoy 16 different slides with deep plunges and twists, sending thrill seekers skywards before landing on air-cushioned mats. The action park is also home to the world’s first UV AirGlider, described as a gravity-powered aerial coaster that gives the rider the sensation of flying.

Created with fun for all the family in mind, as well as fun-lovers of all ages, the park is open to ages four upwards, with children under 12 needing adult supervision. There is also a dedicated soft play area designed for ages three and below, and an onsite café serving food and drink so visitors can refuel after a high-energy session and spectators can relax and take in the action.

Sessions run for either 90 minutes or 120 minutes and cost between £19.95 and £24.95 per person. Party packages start from £22.95pp, with the option to upgrade to a ‘thrill’ and ‘deluxe’ package for more fun. Reservations can be made online, however, walk-in tickets can also be purchased on the day.
