Brandon Flowers has announced a UK and Ireland headline tour for autumn 2026, with a run of dates that includes a Nottingham stop at Rock City on October 18.
The Killers frontman will head out in support of his newly announced third solo album, ‘Thrasher’, set for release via Island Records on August 21 — his first solo LP in over a decade. To mark the announcement, Flowers is also set to drop the record’s first single, ‘Plans’, this Friday (June 26).
Recorded in Nashville’s historic RCA Studio A, ‘Thrasher’ sees Flowers reconnecting with his early musical influences, leaning heavily into Americana and country storytelling. The album was produced by longtime collaborators Shawn Everett and Jonathan Rado, and features contributions from respected session musicians including David Rawlings, Bruce Bouton and Charlie McCoy.
Thematically, the record draws on Flowers’ upbringing in Nephi, Utah, blending personal reflection with character-driven storytelling. While Americana elements have always flickered through The Killers’ work — particularly on ‘Sam’s Town’ and ‘Pressure Machine’ — ‘Thrasher’ reportedly marks his most fully realised exploration of those roots to date.
Songs range from reflective balladry to more playful, narrative-driven tracks, with ‘Plans’ described as an intimate snapshot of dreams that don’t quite materialise. Elsewhere, ‘One Of Us’ pays tribute to a late family member, while ‘Paradise’ pulls from stories of life within Las Vegas’ casino culture.
The UK leg of the tour takes in a series of major venues, including a standout night at London’s Royal Albert Hall on October 15. However, it’s his return to Nottingham’s iconic Rock City that is likely to excite fans in the Midlands, with the venue long known for hosting some of the most electric live shows in the country.
Rock City has played host to numerous Killers performances over the years, and Flowers’ solo return there promises an intimate but high-energy set — a sharp contrast to the grandeur of Royal Albert Hall just three days earlier.

Across the tour, fans can expect a mix of new material from ‘Thrasher’ alongside highlights from Flowers’ previous solo releases — ‘Flamingo’ (2010) and ‘The Desired Effect’ (2015) — as well as selected tracks from The Killers’ catalogue.
For Nottingham audiences, the chance to see him in such an iconic venue, known for its sweat-soaked gigs and devoted crowds, could be one of the most sought-after tickets of the tour.
With ‘Thrasher’ arriving in August and the tour following shortly after, Flowers is set to reintroduce himself as a solo artist to UK fans — and Nottingham looks set to be one of the standout nights.
