Scissor Sisters today announced their live music return with a huge 2025 UK anniversary tour of their self-titled debut album – and the tour begins in Nottingham.

The New York pop-rock band will reunite on stage for the first time in over a decade to perform a string of live dates across arenas in the UK and Ireland.

Jake Shears, Babydaddy and Del Marquis will return on the comeback tour; although, sadly, they won’t be joined by vocalist Ana Matronic who is occupied with other projects.

‘Scissor Sisters’ was released in 2004 and went on to sell over three million copies across the world and became the best-selling album in the UK that year. It would also achieve a 9x Platinum status in the UK.

Singer Jake Shears said: “It’s the 20th anniversary of our debut album, so it really feels like the right time to revisit all the intense excitement of that moment.

Presale commences on November 6 at 9am, whist general sale will begin November 8 at 9am.

The band play Nottingham’s Motorpoint Arena on May 16, 2025.
