Record Store Day: Black Friday line-up of releases coming to East Midlands independent record stores

This year, Record Store Day’s sister event, Black Friday, returns to independent record stores in the East Midlands on Friday, November 28 with a stacked lineup of special releases.

Highlights include limited edition vinyl from Sam Fender & Olivia Dean, Fred again.., Icona Pop & Charli XCX, Bruno Mars, Maribou State, Billie Eilish, Young Fathers and over 100 artists across a variety of genres, ensuring something for every music fan. 

Releases will be available exclusively at UK independent record stores from 8am on the day.

What is Black Friday?

Record Store Day Black Friday is celebrated on November 28, 2025 and is the sister event to the annual celebration in April. Special vinyl releases are made exclusively for the UK’s 250 + independent record shops, as an antidote to the frenzy of Black Friday sales.
