Leicester City will celebrate the 10‑year anniversary of their unforgettable 2016 Premier League title with a special charity match at King Power Stadium next month.

Members of the title‑winning squad will return to Filbert Way on Saturday, May 30, forming a Leicester City Legends team managed by Claudio Ranieri and captained by former skipper Wes Morgan. They’ll face an All‑Star XI featuring several familiar names from the historic season.

The event will raise funds through the Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Foundation, with net proceeds supporting Leicester City in the Community and its work across Leicester and Leicestershire.

The club’s community arm focuses on tackling some of the area’s most pressing challenges, including mental health issues and physical inactivity, through programmes for children, young people and adults. Its work includes mentoring schemes, access to sport and safe spaces that support thousands of people each year.

Leicester City Chief Executive Kevin Davies said the anniversary was an important moment for the club.

“2026 marks a significant anniversary in our history and it’s right that we recognise it in a way that brings people together,” he said.

“This season has presented challenges and we know there is work ahead, but moments like this allow us to reflect on what the Club represents and take that forward.

“Through the Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Foundation and Leicester City in the Community, we can connect our history with a positive impact for our communities.”

Former captain Wes Morgan, who lifted the Premier League trophy in 2016, said players had been keen to mark the milestone together.

“We’ve talked about a 10‑year reunion for a while and how best to celebrate it,” he said.

“This match gives us the chance to come back together, reconnect with the fans and recognise the massive role they played during that season.

“We’re all looking forward to being back at King Power Stadium and raising money for a cause that makes a real difference in Leicester.”

Leicester City’s 2015/16 title win remains one of the most remarkable achievements in English football history, capturing the imagination of fans worldwide and producing memories that continue to define the modern game.

The charity match will form the centrepiece of a day bringing together supporters, former players and staff in support of the Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Foundation and Leicester City in the Community.
