Nottingham, get ready – NQ64 is set to open its doors on Friday, March 28, bringing a supercharged drinking and social experience to the city centre.
Located in the former Roxy Ballroom site on Thurland Street, the arcade bar will feature all of your favourite retro games including Mario Kart, Time Crisis 2 & 3, Space Invaders, Donkey Kong, Dance Mat and Street Fighter.
If you’re looking for the ultimate Guitar Hero experience, the bespoke ‘hell room’ means you can play in private surrounded by ‘flames’. Private gaming and boozing will also be available in the ‘gaming bunker’.
Famous for its neon-lit gaming nostalgia, NQ64 Nottingham is unveiling a brand-new drinks menu, blending fan favourites with bold new creations. NQ64 has also partnered with Nottingham’s own Neon Raptor Brewing Co. to brew an exclusive beer, available only at the new venue. This exclusive brew, crafted by one of the UK’s most exciting independent breweries, is a must-try for beer lovers.
But that’s not all – ahead of the big day, keep an eye out for some chaos on the streets of Nottingham as NQ64 have some tricks up their sleeve with their pals Mario & Luigi. As well as this, the first 100 people through the door on the 28th March will win free merch and booze.
