The ‘Bard of Salford’ himself, Dr John Cooper Clarke is heading out on tour in 2026 and a Leicester date has been confirmed

Fans should clear their diaries of any plans they might have for November 25 as that is when the legendary punk poet will be taking to the stage at Leicester’s De Montfort Hall.

The tour coincides with the release of a brand-new book titled ‘Have It’ set for Autumn 2026 and follows on from 2024’s ‘WHAT’ – which became an instant Sunday Times bestseller.

‘Have It’, will be a completely new collection of work and across his 20-date 2026 tour, he will be introducing this new body of work alongside his beloved, hilarious and classic fan-favourites.

The 20-date Autumn 2026 tour opens in Southend on October 7th, and includes shows at Bristol Beacon, Brighton’s Theatre Royal, and the historic London Palladium. It will closing at Edinburgh venue Queens Hall on November 27th. Not bad going for a 76-year-old.
