Leicester’s National Space Centre will be hosting their To Boldly Game again this January with a weekend of board and tabletop gaming.

Featuring industry guests from around the world such as Asmodee, Honest Quarks Games and Modiphius Entertainment, there will be a range of games able to be played over the weekend from board games, tabletop rpgs and even choose your own adventure books.

The event is taking place between January 25-26, 2025.

You can paint and take your own miniatures with Trans Atlantis Games, play new releases with Czech Games or discover some board game versions of your favourite franchises including Star Wars Dobble and Halo: Flashpoint.

Whether you’re a fan of traditional dice-rolling games, enjoy testing your dexterity or want to test your resource management skills, there will be something for everyone to enjoy, whether they want to play an old favourite or discover a new game.

All of this and more is included in the price of a day ticket to the National Space Centre and is available as part of the free annual pass upgrade, offering entry for a year at no additional cost. Visitors can explore the centre and watch a free planetarium show between playing games or picking up a snack or sweet treat at the centre’s cafe.
