For two glorious weeks this autumn, Leicester’s restaurants are rolling out the red carpet for hungry locals, bargain hunters and foodies on the hunt for their next favourite spot.
Leicester Restaurant Week returns from October 19 to November 1, bringing together more than 30 venues across the city with exclusive discounts, special menus and wallet-friendly deals. Whether you’re craving a long brunch, an after-work bite or a full-blown feast, there’s never been a better excuse to eat your way around Leicester.
Now in its sixth year, the city-wide celebration is once again stretching across a fortnight after the success of last year’s expanded format. And with 38 deals already confirmed and more expected to be announced, there’s plenty to get excited about.

Among the highlights, newcomer O.W at The Grand is offering 30% off its entire menu, including drinks, while Leicester favourite Chutney Ivy is bringing back a crowd-pleasing 50% off its à la carte menu. Elsewhere, Grays Coffee Shop & Kitchen is making its Restaurant Week debut with a beer-and-burger deal for £15, and The Globe is helping families save money with meals for children from just £5.
If Italian is more your thing, Casa Romana is serving up two courses and a drink for £25, while My Delhi is offering a £15 lunch experience. Families can also tuck into Dough What’s appropriately named ‘Monster Pizza Pit-Stop’ deal.
The line-up spans everything from independent favourites to popular chains, with venues including Hive & Honey, Turtle Bay, Maki & Ramen, Kayal, Giggling Squid, Pho, Sonrisa, Cosy Club, Veeno, Bistrot Pierre and many more taking part.
And it’s not just about the food.
From October 22 to 31, the return of Leicester’s much-loved Monsters trail will see eight giant illuminated creatures popping up across rooftops, windows and unexpected corners of the city during the school half-term holidays. The result? A perfect excuse to combine a monster hunt with lunch, dinner or cocktails while exploring the city centre.
Whether you’re looking to tick off somewhere that’s been sitting on your must-visit list for months or simply revisit an old favourite for less, Leicester Restaurant Week is shaping up to be one of the tastiest events in the East Midlands calendar.
