When Tim Burton’s film Batman burst onto cinema screens in 1989, it was a critical and commercial success.

With Michael Keaton in the lead role and Jack Nicholson as the Joker, the story unfolded with a profound musical score led by Danny Elfman.

His piece Batman Theme has become iconic, evoking the DC Comics superhero for many generations.

Now, as part of the Batman in Concert tour, you can watch the film on a big screen at Nottingham’s Royal Concert Hall with the score performed live by the Gotham Philharmonic Orchestra, synced perfectly to the film that redefined the Dark Knight for a generation.
