Many of our local independent shops have signed up to take part in this year’s festivities…
All us cratediggers over the East Midlands know there’s something seriously wonderful about rifling through a cardboard box of wrapped long players. And again, to satisfy our festish for vinyl, these independent stores across our region will be going all out for Record Store Day on Saturday, April 18
Founded back in 2007, this event is all about showing a bit of love for our local indie shops that peddle vinyl, and they’ll be reciprocating that love by selling limited-edition vinyl records produced especially for the occasion. There are some big names involved again this year, including David Bowie, Ariana Grande, CMAT, Charli XCX, Pink Floyd, Streets and many, many more.
