Commuters can now get their Pret hit at Nottingham Station as the coffee chain opens up on Platform 5b

Pret is undeniably the Waitrose of the coffee chain world, with fresh sandwiches on rustic breads and a focus on top-quality coffee, it’s no wonder it has such a cult following amongst stressed-out commuters.

And its those stressed out commuters who will be most delighted by the news that Pret-A- Manger has now taken up residence at Nottingham Station.

The station’s new Pret has opened on Platform 5b and 6 and is offering customers Pret’s menu of freshly made sandwiches, salads, hot-food, snacks and baked goods.

Pret favourites including the freshly baked all-butter croissant, to the handmade Chicken Caesar & Bacon Baguette and Posh Cheddar & Pickle Baguette will be available to purchase.

Organic coffees, teas and other hot and iced drinks, prepared by Pret’s skilled Baristas, will also be available.

Club Pret will also be available at the shop, meaning customers who pay £5 a month get 50% off up to five Barista-prepared hot or iced drinks a day.

Simon Pready, Commercial Director of East Midlands Railway, said: “With 3.6 million journeys taking place from Nottingham last year, the new shop opening on Platforms 5b and 6 will have plenty of opportunities to tempt customers with high-quality options, whether they’re commuting, travelling, or visiting the city.”
