Kylie Minogue announces Nottingham gig as part of world ‘Tension Tour’

Kylie Minogue has announced plans for a global tour in 2025, which includes a performance in Nottingham as part of the UK leg.

The Padam Padam singer’s highly-anticipated tour will commence in her native Australia, before moving on to Asia, and arriving in the UK where she’ll take the stage at Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham on Friday, May 30, 2025.

Kylie said: “I am beyond excited to announce the Tension Tour 2025. I can’t wait to share beautiful and wild moments with fans all over the world, celebrating the Tension era and more!

“It’s been an exhilarating ride so far and now, get ready for your close up because I will be calling Lights, Camera, Action … and there will be a whole lot of Padaming!”

Kylie, 56, also delighted fans as she shared that a sequel to her album Tension, which first came out in 2023 featuring nine fresh tracks, is set to be launched next month on October 18.

‘Tension II’ – a brand new collection of 13 songs – will be released via BMG.

The high energy, high octane partner of the Number 1 album and global smash ‘Tension’, sees Kylie head further into the electronic space, and is packed full of dance floor anthems.

The record includes nine brand new Kylie studio tracks plus the latest dance hit ‘Edge of Saturday Night’ with The Blessed Madonna as well as the collaborations with Orville Peck, Bebe Rexha and Tove Lo, and Sia.

Tickets for Kylie’s Motorpoint Arena date go on pre-sale at 10am Thursday, September 26, 2024 and on general sale from 10am Friday, September 27, 2024.
