David Bowie. Music legend. Style and cultural icon.

He’s now about to be celebrated in a new multi-sensory stage experience around his life and music – and three dates in the East Midlands have been announced.

From the alter-ego of Ziggy Stardust, through the dark and desolate years of Berlin, the pure joy of Let’s Dance to the genius of Blackstar, a new show will take you on an emotional rollercoaster, transporting you to pasts and futures unknown, a journey that will make you laugh, sing and cry in equal measure.

There will be performances of The Bowie Show at Nottingham Royal Concert Hall on January 27 2025, Buxton Opera House on January 28, and De Montfort Hall in Leicester on February 3.

The production features world class musicians, dancers, elaborate costumes, all choreographed to dramatic landscapes and exquisite, thought-provoking visuals.

Combing original twists and unique story telling visions the show pulls all the strands of David Bowie’s fragmented life together, treating audiences of all ages to a night of breath-taking, unexpected and ‘other worldly’ performances.

Exploring the fashion and musical treasure trove of a man who recorded the classic album Hunky Dory at only 23 years of age, this production respectfully curates his legacy and in so doing delivers a kick-ass rock n roll show to boot.

At the beating heart of this sensational new show is an exceptional band performing perhaps the most sonically accurate versions of David Bowie’s greatest records you will ever hear, with one or two surprises mixed in for good measure.

The music has garnered praise from illustrious Bowie alumni including his longest serving bandmate Mike Garson, iconic Bowie producer Ken Scott and the legendary piano man Rick Wakeman.
