If your idea of a perfect autumn involves discovering a hidden gem over lunch, finally booking that restaurant you’ve been meaning to try for months, or simply finding an excuse to order dessert, then clear your diary: Leicester Restaurant Week is back for 2026.
Now in its sixth year, the city-wide food festival returns from 19 October to 1 November, bringing two weeks of cut-price dining, exclusive menus and tempting deals to venues across Leicester. After the success of last year’s extended format, organisers are once again giving foodies fourteen whole days to feast their way around the city.
This year, 49 venues are serving up 67 different offers, with deals ranging from just £5 to £30, covering everything from quick coffee-and-pastry stops to full-blown three-course dinners.

New openings, old favourites and some seriously good deals
Among the fresh faces joining the line-up this year are O.W at The Grand, Madras Flavours and Thanh Nam Pho, while a handful of well-known Leicester favourites are taking part for the very first time, including Gray’s Coffee Shop & Kitchen, The Bottle Garden, Zizzi and The Encore Dining by Ramada Encore.
Some standout offers include:
- 30% off the entire menu at O.W at The Grand
- A bowl of pho and a soft drink for £15 at Thanh Nam Pho
- A bottle of wine and flatbread for £25 at The Bottle Garden
- A burger-and-beer combo for £15 at Gray’s
Honestly? That’s the sort of maths we can get behind.
Taking the family? You’re sorted
Restaurant Week isn’t just for date nights and catch-ups. Several venues are rolling out family-friendly deals that make eating out during half-term a little less painful on the wallet.
Kids can eat from £5 at The Globe, Bryter Moon Deli, Crafty and Queen of Bradgate, while Firebug is offering children’s meals from just £1.
Meanwhile, Dough WHAT is serving up its brilliantly named “Monster Pizza Pit-Stop” for £30, including garlic bread, a loaded deep-dish margherita and another pizza for the table. Over at Turtle Bay, kids eat free when an adult spends £15, and yes, there’s a Monster Mocktail involved.
Brunch, lunch and bargain bites
Not every Restaurant Week visit needs to turn into a three-hour dining marathon.
Those after a lighter bite can tuck into:
- Three tapas dishes for £20 at Casa Casa
- A pizza, wrap and drink for £15 at Art’s Greek Cuisine
- Coffee and a pastry for just £5 at Esquires
- Two street plates and sides for £15 at My Delhi
- A mezze dish, main plate and side for £20 at The Frame
- A 12-inch pizza and a pint for £15 at Biggies Pizza
- Brunch and coffee for two for £30 at KAI
- And perhaps the biggest bargain of the lot: YO! Sushi’s famous katsu curry for a fiver
Fancy something a little more indulgent?
If you’re treating yourself, there are plenty of multi-course menus to work your way through.
Italian fans can head to Casa Romana, Café Roma or Knight & Garter, while lovers of Asian cuisine can feast their way through offers at Giggling Squid, Maki & Ramen and Pho.
Elsewhere, you’ll find Argentinian dishes at Sonrisa, Indian menus at Chutney Ivy, Amrut and Madras Flavours, plus French classics at Bistrot Pierre.
And there’s a giant monster trail too
Because apparently all food festivals should come with illuminated rooftop monsters.
The popular Leicester Monsters installation returns from 22 to 31 October, with eight giant glowing creatures appearing across the city centre during the school half-term break. Expect them to pop up on rooftops, in windows and in unexpected corners around Leicester, giving visitors another reason to make a day of it.
The bottom line
Whether you’re chasing a £5 lunch, planning a family meal or looking for an excuse to finally try that restaurant you’ve been walking past for years, Leicester Restaurant Week 2026 is shaping up to be one of the tastiest ways to spend the autumn break.
Leicester Restaurant Week runs from 19 October to 1 November 2026. Full details of participating venues and offers can be found at leicesterrestaurantweek.co.uk.
