Stockport five-piece Blossoms are set to perform at a Derby festival next summer as they continue to promote their latest album, Gary.
The group has been announced as headliner for TK Maxx Presents Derby Summer Sessions and they will take to the stage on Saturday, July 5, at Markeaton Park and will be joined by The Coral.
Previously announced headliners for 2025 include Simple Minds, with many more exciting names to follow.
Tickets for Blossoms will go on general sale on this Friday (25).
These shows mark the return of the highly successful Summer Sessions, following a triumphant 2024 series across the UK, which featured headliners such as Avril Lavigne, Bryan Adams, Sting, and Shania Twain.
Previous Derby Summer Sessions artists include the likes of Tom Jones, Becky Hill, and Madness.
Formed in 2013, Blossoms has become one of the UK’s most celebrated bands wit their 2016 self-titled debut skyrocketing to the top of the UK charts for two consecutive weeks, earning prestigious BRIT Award and Mercury Prize nominations.
The group have six top 5 UK albums under their belt, including 4 number 1 albums thanks to their recent release “Gary” topping the charts earlier this month.
Supporting Blossoms, The Coral will bring a distinctive blend of ’60s garage rock, psychedelic pop, and folk-rock.
