Nottingham scent lovers, it’s finally happening.

Victoria Centre has just announced that Bath & Body Works is officially on its way, marking the brand’s long‑awaited debut in the city.

Yes, all that candle aisle chaos you’ve seen hitting your feed on TikTok is about to become very real.

The iconic US brand is set to bring its cult‑favourite fragrances, body care and homeware to Nottingham, giving the city a brand‑new go‑to for last‑minute gifts, stress‑buy candles and that hand sanitiser everyone’s obsessed with.

If you’ve somehow avoided Bath & Body Works until now (first of all, how?), the brand is best known for its signature scents, seasonal drops and bestselling candles that somehow end up in everyone’s flat, even if no one remembers buying them.

From cosy autumn vibes to borderline aggressive Christmas smells, Bath & Body Works has built a huge global fanbase — and now Nottingham is finally joining the club.

Victoria Centre’s Centre Director Nigel Wheatley said the team is “really pleased” to be welcoming the brand to the city, adding that it’s one people “genuinely love”. Which, let’s be honest, feels accurate given how quickly those candles sell out everywhere else.

He also said bringing in brands like Bath & Body Works is a big part of how Victoria Centre is evolving — basically meaning they’re trying to keep Nottingham shoppers actually excited about going into town, rather than just ordering everything online in their dressing gowns.

Bath & Body Works also seems just as hyped about the move. A spokesperson for the brand said they’re “delighted” to be opening at Victoria Centre and described Nottingham as a “vibrant city with a strong retail destination”. Translation: They know we’ll absolutely clear the shelves.

The store will be joining Victoria Centre’s already packed line‑up of high street favourites and international brands, with more details — including the opening date — still to be confirmed. So no, you can’t start queueing yet. But you can start planning which scent is about to become your entire personality.
