S Club have announced a massive UK tour and your 2000s childhood is officially back

There still ain't no party like an S Club party

Just when you thought you’d finally accepted the fact that the early 2000s were more than 20 years ago, S Club have decided to emotionally destabilise an entire generation by announcing another massive UK and Ireland arena tour.

Bradley, Jo, Jon, Rachel and Tina are getting back on the road in 2027 for the brilliantly inevitable Ain’t No Party Like An S Club Party Tour.

And yes, you are absolutely going to end up doing the Reach dance.

The 13-date tour kicks off at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro on October 8 2027, and heads to Nottingham’s Motorpoint Arena on Tuesday, October 12, 2027

Because apparently one S Club Party simply isn’t enough.

Tickets go on general sale at 9.30am on Friday, November 6, with a fan pre-sale beginning at 9.30am on Wednesday, November 4.

And if the prospect of S Club isn’t already enough millennial nostalgia for one evening, they’re bringing Boyzlife with them.

That’s Keith Duffy from Boyzone and Brian McFadden from Westlife.

Honestly, chuck in an inflatable chair and a bottle of Sunny Delight and we’ve basically completed the set.

Announcing the tour, S Club said they couldn’t wait to get back on the road and celebrate the songs and memories they’ve shared with fans, promising “one BIG party”.

And there are quite a lot of songs to work with.

S Club gave us Bring It All Back, Reach, Never Had a Dream Come True, Don’t Stop Movin’ and, obviously, S Club Party.

Over their career they’ve sold more than 10 million albums worldwide, scored four UK number one singles and 11 Top Five hits, while their second album 7 reached number one.

They also picked up two BRIT Awards.

But explaining S Club by listing chart positions doesn’t really do them justice.

For many of us, S Club weren’t just a band. They were basically an after-school lifestyle choice.

You watched the TV shows. You knew who your favourite member was. You probably knew the Reach routine considerably better than you knew your times tables.

And the songs haven’t really disappeared. They’ve just been sitting dormant somewhere in your brain alongside MSN Messenger usernames, Nokia ringtones and the knowledge of exactly which Spice Girl you were.

Now they’re heading back to arenas.

So dust off the questionable Y2K clothing, start practising that choreography and prepare to discover whether your knees are still capable of surviving an entire S Club Party.

Apparently there still isn’t.
