Leicester Cathedral is planning an ‘epic tribute’ to The Smiths featuring a live band and string quartet this November

It seems a reunion of The Smiths is about as likely as Mansfield Town winning the Premier League – but fans in across the East Midlands can still celebrate their legacy at an event at Leicester Cathedral this November.

An Evening of The Smiths will take the iconic hits of the popular Manc band and reinvent them into epic showpieces with a full live band and string quartet.

The show takes place on Saturday, November 30, 2024.
