Mog, the nation’s favourite cat (Hold on, what about ‘Vienna’ in 70’s sitcom Rising Damp?! – Ed), will be causing merry mayhem in Victoria Centre this Christmas throughout December and up until January 5.
Follow author Judith Kerr’s famous cat as she watches – in confusion – as the Thomas family makes preparations for the purrrrfect Christmas.
You can catch ‘Mog’s Christmas’ on a big TV in the centre’s South Square; join interactive storytelling events, and listen to the story read by the author’s daughter throughout the trail.
You can also pick up a free special trail map and follow the magical Mog’s Christmas trail across the Centre. Discover 11 trail points, each with fun interactive elements, unlocking points of the adorable story which you will be able to hear with the audio recorded by the author’s daughter, especially for this trail.

In addition, from December 13 visitors can expect a charity gift wrapping unit, a gift box to give toy donations and Christmas choirs spreading festive joy around the centre, all on top of big brand shopping and fantastic dining options.
The iconic story of Mog will be brought to life through live storytelling sessions from December 19, in the South Square at 11am, 12pm, 1pm and 2pm, and families can catch “Mog’s Christmas” on the big screen during the centre’s opening hours.
This event is free, taking place in the South Square, and seating cannot be reserved.
The event is completely free – but people will be invited to make a donation to the centre’s chosen charity, Nottinghamshire Hospice.
Collect all the stamps and find the secret word to enter a prize-draw to win one of 10 gift hampers, which include official Mog merchandise, hot chocolate from Whittard, treats from Sostrene Grene, candles from Sunnamusk, surprises from Boost Juice and other seasonal goodies.
