Flaming Lips, Craig David and Primal Scream (all pictured above) have all been added to the Splendour 2026 festival line-up

Primal Scream, the Scottish rock band fronted by singer Bobby Gillespie behind stone-cold classics Movin’ On UpLoaded and Rocks, play the festival for the first time.

Craig David – one of the biggest DJs in Ibiza with his TS5 soundsystem – went down a storm on his last outing at Wollaton Park. After emerging at the end of 1999 with instant UK garage classic Rewind, the multi-award-winning artist has scored 25 UK Top 40 singles and nine UK Top 40 albums.

Formed in Oklahoma City in 1983, The Flaming Lips are one of the most iconic, influential, unpredictable and vital forces in American alternative rock music. Q Magazine named them one of the ‘50 Bands to See Before You Die’, while their spectacular interactive audio/visual events are legendary.

A band who have never been afraid of switching up their sound, Editors’ latest album is their most leftfield material yet – a thrilling, unrelenting thrust of full-bodied electro-industrial rock. Indie rock energy and raw authentic songwriting from The K’s make them a firm favourite on the live circuit with stand out songs from last year’s critically acclaimed album.

Alongside the music at Splendour this year, there will be Little Splendours children’s area, silent disco, comedy, fairground rides, an independent market, gourmet food and drink and fringe entertainment all in the beautiful historic parkland.

Anton Lockwood, DHP Family Director of Live, said: “I’m delighted to say that Splendour is back with another huge line-up, featuring massive chart-topping anthems from the likes of headliners Snow Patrol and The Wombats, mixed with the singalong classics of Craig David and Estelle, some of our favourite new music from Kingfishr, Divorce, and alt blk era, plus a range of indie icons and entertainment for the whole family.”
