Leicester’s National Space Centre is giving families the chance to enjoy a one-of-a-kind sleepover this November.

Visitors will be able to sleep under the stars without worrying about any rain showers on the weekend of November 15-16, which is one of the events being planned to mark World Space Week.

Curl up in an ISS module, gaze up at the stars, and still be nice and toasty inside!

Those kipping over can enjoy a talk from Meganne Christian, UK Space Agency astronaut reserve, stargaze with Leicester Astronomical Society and investigate some space-age artefacts from the vault, then set up a sleeping bag and enjoy a hot chocolate and story before sleep.

You can even watch a special screening of E.T the Extra Terrestrial in the planetarium if you fancy staying up late.

Then, in the morning, enjoy a continental breakfast under the centre’s two iconic rockets before settling in for a planetarium show.

You can even dine in style if you purchase a breakfast backpack, designed in-house and containing a backpack and a bowl and plate set.
