Gone are the days when a night at Nottingham’s Motorpoint Arena meant queuing for a pint, squeezing past 17 people to get to your seat and spending half the interval wondering whether the toilet queue is actually moving.
Motorpoint Arena Nottingham has unveiled The Headliner Lounge, a new hospitality area where you can watch some of the biggest gigs, comedy shows and sporting events in considerably more luxurious surroundings.
And honestly, it looks pretty swanky.
The new Level 4 lounge has been created by smashing together three of the arena’s existing hospitality suites and giving the whole thing a serious glow-up.
Inside there’s plush seating, a cosy booth for groups of up to 10, food prepared by the arena’s executive chefs and waiting service throughout the evening.
So yes, while everyone else is balancing a pint on their knee, somebody could potentially be bringing yours over.
Obviously, living like arena royalty comes at a price.
Packages start at £155 per person for events, although that does include your actual ticket to the show, so you won’t need to buy one separately.
Nottingham Panthers fans can get in on the action too, with Headliner Lounge packages for ice hockey matches starting from £50 per person.
The lounge makes its debut when Professor Brian Cox arrives on October 29, before J. Cole on October 31, Kevin Bridges on November 1 and Myles Smith on November 7.
Already got an ordinary ticket for one of this week’s shows? No problemo. You can also upgrade to the lounge, subject to availability.

Phil Jones, Commercial Director at Motorpoint Arena Nottingham, said the idea was to create something that went beyond traditional arena hospitality.
He said guests could still soak up the atmosphere of the show but do it with premium seating, food, drinks and waiting service.
And the arena clearly thinks there’s an appetite for people wanting a little more than the standard gig-night experience.
The Headliner Lounge is being pitched at everything from birthdays and anniversaries to nights out with friends and corporate entertaining.
Basically, if standing in a queue clutching a £9 pint* no longer screams special occasion to you, Nottingham Arena now has another option.
Bookings for The Headliner Lounge are open now, with details and upcoming events available through the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham website.
