A popular fashion retailer is to reopen its store in time for Christmas following a refurbishment over the summer.

Hoardings have surrounded the H&M unit in Highgate reading “something new is coming” since July.

The exact reopening date was confirmed by Highcross boss Michelle Menezes – and it will be open again on November 20 – just in time for Christmas shoppers.

She said: “We’re pleased to be welcoming H&M back to Highcross after an extensive makeover.

“The newly-refurbished 1,800 sq metre store will reopen at 10am on November 20, just in time for the busy festive season, where it’ll offer an updated layout featuring self-service check-outs, click and collect lockers, and access to its brand new collections across Womenswear, ‘Divided’ (H&M’s younger-focused, trends-led range), Menswear, Beauty and Kidswear.

“As an extra treat on the day, the retailer will be giving its first 100 H&M members in the queue a £20 gift card to spend in-store.”
