Tickets are still on sale for their show at the 02 Academy in April
The immersive and unique Daft Punk tribute band, Daft Funk Live will be performing at Leicester’s 02 Academy this April.
It’s the act’s only East Midlands date planned for 2026 so far.
The band incorporates their own synchronised light shows together with live instrument to give a truly immersive and unique experience, while their meticulous stage production pays the utmost respect to the infamous and illusive robots.

And speaking of Daft Punk…
A LEGO recreation of Daft Punk’s Alive 2007 live show has progressed to the review stage for production consideration by the Danish firm.
Designed by Patrick Harboun and his son, the LEGO reimagination of the iconic pyramid set has achieved the milestone of 10,000 supporters on LEGO’s official Ideas platform for kit submissions. This means LEGO will review the design for possible production and commercial sale by building concept models and testing the design for “playability, safety and fit with the LEGO brand”, according to LEGO’s latest update. Creators of successful Ideas submissions receive 1% of royalties on the product.

A LEGO spokesman said: “As of today, we’re still looking into the possibility of releasing a set based on this project and have decided to place it in the Parking Lot. We will keep it in review (for a maximum of three review periods in total) until we have made a final decision. Once we have a decision, we’ll share it with you here and on the LEGO Ideas blog.”
