Yay finally some opening news in the East Midlands!

One of the UK’s fastest-growing pizza restaurant groups is set to touch down in Derby.

Boss Pizza is a new brand quickly expanding throughout the UK and have at least 14 shops planned for opening in 2026.

One of these new stores will be opening at 1255 London Road in Alvaston.

The store will be saying hello to pizza fans in Derby on Saturday, March 28 from 12pm.

The brand will be marking the launch by offering customers one of its 12-inch Margherita or Flamin’ Chicken pizzas for £2.

Boss Pizza say their aim is to produce bigger, better quality pizzas while responding to growing demand for freshly made food.

The company are focused on fresh dough pizzas, with its products designed to be 40% bigger and 50% more affordable than those offered by leading pizza brands.

Boss Pizza has quickly gained a reputation for using quality ingredients, creating new flavour combinations and focusing on customer service as it grows its footprint.

Ajmal Mushtaq, CEO of Boss Pizza, said: “It’s a great location and we look forward to showcasing what has made Boss Pizza so popular to the people of Derby.”

The business is also looking at an additional site in Nottingham.

Mushtaq previously ran award-winning Indian restaurant Mushtaqs in Scotland.
