In what might be the most elite crossover event of 2026, the World Cup Final will be shown live at Splendour Festival. And if England actually make it all the way (no jinxing), the match will be screened on the main stage for the ultimate fanโzoneโmeetsโfestival experience.
Before you panic about missing Snow Patrol, donโt worry โ organisers have confirmed that nothing will clash with headline sets and all performances will still go ahead as planned. Football and live music? Weโre being spoiled.
Splendour returns to Wollaton Park on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 July, and the lineโup is stacked. Headliners across the main two stages include The Wombats, Snow Patrol, Primal Scream, Craig David Presents TS5 and Editors, with support from the likes of The Kโs, The Flaming Lips, Hard Life, The Lathums, Estelle, Cast, Neville Staple from The Specials, Kingfishr, The Futureheads, The Pigeon Detectives, The Sugarhill Gang, Say She She, Divorce and alt blk era.
Basically, if you donโt see someone you love, check again.
Over on The Bodega New Music Stage, things stay very Nottingham. Artists including Archy & the Astronauts, Ben Ellis, Cherryholt, Dring, Jerub, M60, Marvinโs Revenge, Mรชn An Tol, Pastel, People Laughing, Saffron Gray, The Cheap Thrills, The Rossettis, Villanelle and Vona Vella will be providing the โyou saw them before they were famousโ moments.

The stage is curated by The Bodega, which is kind of perfect considering itโs basically the final boss of grassroots music venues. Itโs currently riding high after winning both Music Weekโs Spirit of the Scene Award and Grassroots Champion at the Live Awards.

Honestly? Sold.
Also returning to Splendour are Archy & the Astronauts, who opened the festival last year after winning Future Sound of Nottingham. Since then, theyโve gone on to bigger shows and headline gigs โ proof that this competition actually does something.
They said winning FSN was a โgame changerโ and helped open doors they didnโt even know existed. Casual.

Future Sound of Nottingham is back again for 2026, giving local artists the chance to play both Rock City and Splendour Festival. Previous finalists include alt blk era (yes, the MOBO winners) and Emily Makis, who coโwrote a Chase & Status track. No pressure, then.
As well as the music, the weekend will feature Little Splendours, fairground rides, an independent market, gourmet food, fringe entertainment, and enough going on to keep everyone happy โ from toddlers to hungover millennials.
Tickets are available for weekend, Saturday and Sunday passes, with discounts for youths and city residents, and kids under 11 go free (iconic behaviour).

Honestly? Football, Snow Patrol and Craig David in a historic park. Splendour is doing the absolute most.
