Kasabian are kicking 2026 into overdrive. Fresh off their dance‑floor‑igniting collaboration with Calvin Harris on Release The Pressure, the band return with Great Pretender—an explosive new single and the second glimpse of their forthcoming album Act III, out July 17th. They’ll also be hitting TV screens this Saturday, April 4th, as special guests on the brand‑new Saturday Night Live UK on Sky One.

Following the wavy, sun‑drenched vibes of lead track Hippie Sunshine, Great Pretender arrives as a euphoric, arms‑aloft anthem built for festival fields. Written by Serge Pizzorno and produced by Serge and Mark Ralph, it’s a track destined to blow the roof off Finsbury Park this summer.

“Great Pretender is about imposter syndrome—not as a weakness, but as a sign you’re on the edge of something real,” Serge explains.

“It’s that moment right before you step on stage, when the lights drop and it’s now or never.”

Act III marks Kasabian’s ninth studio album, following a run of seven consecutive UK #1s. Recorded at The Sergery and Club Ralph, and produced by Serge and Mark Ralph, the record is drenched in Serge’s unmistakable hazy vocals and packed with ten guitar‑driven, psyche‑infused pop tracks plus three interludes.

Loaded with hooks, attitude, and that signature Kasabian swagger, Act III reinforces the band’s status as one of the UK’s most vital and era‑defining acts.
