Fast-rising Irish-Cornish band Girl In The Year Above have announced a UK headline tour for October 2026, kicking off at Nottingham’s Bodega venue.
The nine-date run follows a sold-out headline tour earlier this year and sees the band play some of their biggest shows to date, beginning in Nottingham before heading to Bristol, London, Brighton, Liverpool, Glasgow, Newcastle, Birmingham and Leeds.
The opening night at The Bodega on October 11 is set to give Nottingham fans the first chance to experience the band’s latest live set.
Girl In The Year Above have steadily built a reputation as one of the most compelling new acts on the grassroots circuit. Blending Celtic storytelling with emotionally charged indie-rock, the band balance vulnerability and intensity to create songs that transform personal experiences into soaring, cathartic anthems.
Their growing profile has seen them tour alongside Seb Lowe and Razorlight, winning over audiences with powerful live performances and a songwriting style rooted in honesty and emotional depth. Following a sold-out headline run earlier this year, the newly-announced tour marks another significant step forward for the band.
Praised by tastemakers as a band to watch, Girl In The Year Above continue to carve out a distinctive space of their own — one defined by heartfelt storytelling, fearless emotional expression and a belief in embracing the messy realities of life.
Tickets for the tour are on sale now.
