The lucky local landed the cash on The Pools’ Classic Pools game after correctly predicting eight score draws across England and Scotland. Considering most of us struggle to get one weekend accumulator right, it’s a pretty impressive feat.
Classic Pools gives players the chance to win prizes by predicting which football matches will finish level. Get enough correct score draws and you could even land a jackpot worth up to £3 million.
The winning coupon was placed earlier this month and included a selection of spot-on predictions, from Chelsea’s 2-2 draw with Hull City to Bournemouth and Brentford sharing the points in another 2-2 thriller.
Other correct calls included draws involving West Brom, QPR, Blackpool, Bromley, Colchester, Crewe, Newport, Fleetwood, Rotherham, Salford City and Scottish sides Queen of the South and East Fife.
