Dust off the braces, stock up on stout and prepare to bawl your eyes out to “Rainy Night In Soho” all over again.
The Pogues have announced a fresh run of UK, Ireland and European dates for winter 2026 following the success of their recent anniversary celebrations – including one at Nottingham Rock City.
The legendary folk-punk icons will head across Germany and the Netherlands before returning to these shores for a string of UK and Irish shows.
Original members James Fearnley, Jem Finer and Spider Stacy will once again lead the charge, backed by a rotating cast of guest musicians and singers drawn from the new wave of Irish talent currently reshaping traditional music.
Expect an emotional, euphoric journey through one of the most influential catalogues to emerge from the 1980s, with staples including ‘Fairytale of New York’, ‘Dirty Old Town’, ‘A Pair of Brown Eyes’, ‘Rainy Night In Soho’ and ‘If I Should Fall From Grace With God’ all set to feature.
The band said: “After the incredible reaction to our recent anniversary shows, we wanted to take the celebration even further. We hope you’ll come along. It will most definitely be worth it.”
