What’s the last album you bought? 

Last album I bought was years ago and it was Ti’s Paper Trail. I loved it.

Are you a morning person or creature of the night? 

I’m a morning person. I love the morning. Especially when I’m presenting breakfast on BBC’s Midlands Today. I’m that annoying person that comes in at 5:00 in the morning going ‘MORNING!’.

Should pineapple on pizza be considered a crime? 

Absolutely not. It’s great.

Favourite food takeaway? 

Turkish.

Last song you purchased/ streamed? 

So, we do this thing when we’re in the car driving with the kids. I’ve got a 13-year-old and a seven-year-old and it’s called ‘My Song, Your Song’. So, we all take it in turns picking a song to play and the last song I remember choosing was ‘I Got You’ by Duke Dumont

What’s the mobile app you couldn’t live without? 

Oh, tricky. I love my calendar, but WhatsApp and a voice note. It’s a toss up between those.

Who was the last person to message you? 

I’ve just checked and it was my brother messaging our family group chat asking if anyone wants to go and watch his kids play football tonight.

What annoys you most about the world? 

 Without getting too deep, one thing that really annoys me is paying for parking. It infuriates me. Its even more annoying when you’ve gone somewhere for a day out, you’ve paid for the pleasure of being there, and then when you get there, they charge you to park. What’s all that about?

Favourite alcoholic drink? 

I don’t drink. I was brought up living in a pub and I was surrounded by booze all of the time. It’s just something that I’ve never really been interested in.

My last ever meal would be… 

A Sunday roast. Home cooked by me.

Best advice you ever received? 

Some of my favourite quotes and advice would be, “Walk by faith, not by sight.”, “A lack of confidence kills more dreams than a lack of skill”, “Let them” and “no-one else’s wins are your losses”. I think that will do.

Favourite sports team? 

Both of my daughters play football, so obviously it will be their football club.

What TV show we should all be watching right now? 

Something that I watched a little while ago was called Under the Bridge, and it’s just one of those shows that is just stuck rent free in my head. So, if you haven’t watched it, go and check it out.

TikTok or Instagram? 

Tricky that one. I’m new to Tik Tok and I feel like you can be your authentic self over there. Instagram’s just all about showing off, isn’t it? I prefer Tik Tok.

Coffee or tea? 

Right now, I’m in my coffee era. It’s not about the posh coffee. Nah, I like a three in one. First thing in the morning, but I adapt it and my partner calls it a five in one. So, I put a bit of milk in and a bit of honey. So, yeah, there we are. A five in one.

Do you have a recurring dream? 

No, I do not have a reoccurring dream, but sometimes I have really vivid dreams. You know to the point like where I wake up and I’m mad and asking ‘did that happen?’ No, it didn’t, but I’m still mad.

What time do you get up? 

On a good day, I get up at 5:40. It’s not too early. It’s not like 5:00, but it’s early enough to be awake before the kids and have a little bit peace and quiet and time to myself.

What time do you go to bed?

Ideally before 10:30. That’s nice.

Favourite joke? 

A man walks into a bar…’ouch!’. I told you it was bad.

Is there anything else we should know? 

My dream job is to host a talk show. So, right now I am building one. So, yeah, one day, who knows, you could be on it.
