Record Store Day Black Friday 2026: Florence + The Machine, Noah Kahan, Playboi Carti and more lead this year’s exclusive vinyl drop

This year's collection spans everything from indie favourites and pop heavyweights to hip-hop icons and festive classics

Vinyl heads in the East Midlands, mark your calendars: Record Store Day Black Friday is back on November 27, bringing another stacked line-up of limited edition releases to independent record shops across the UK and Ireland.

This year’s collection spans everything from indie favourites and pop heavyweights to hip-hop icons and festive classics, with a host of records getting their first-ever vinyl pressings, exclusive variants and special anniversary editions.

Among the biggest draws is Florence + The Machine, who are releasing alternate chamber versions of four tracks from Everybody Scream, while rapidly rising indie star Sombr sees his In Another Life EP land on vinyl for the first time via a silver pressing.

A large number of exclusive vinyl releases will be available

Elsewhere, fans can get their hands on exclusive releases from Noah Kahan, Jessie Ware, KATSEYE and Carly Rae Jepsen, alongside the first retail edition of Shawn Mendes’ MTV Unplugged performance.

Classic rock devotees are also well catered for. Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band’s Live At Tower Theatre Philly 1975 joins the line-up, while Holly Humberstone offers Live From Cruel World, featuring performances taken from her 2026 BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge appearance.

The festive season gets its own soundtrack too. Cher’s Christmas EP returns alongside a special edition of Vince Guaraldi Trio’s beloved A Charlie Brown Christmas, arriving in a collector-friendly advent calendar-style gatefold sleeve.

Hip-hop fans can celebrate 20 years of 2Pac’s Pac’s Life, while Playboi Carti’s MUSIC – SORRY 4 DA WAIT finally receives its first vinyl release.

Closer to home, UK artists including The Chemical Brothers, Rose Gray, The Coral, Momoko Gill and Knats also feature on the extensive release list.

Speaking about the event, Sticky Black Tarmac owner Brandan Nolan said Record Store Day Black Friday offered a welcome alternative to the increasingly commercialised Black Friday sales frenzy.

He said: “Black Friday can feel like it’s become all about buying more for the sake of it, so Record Store Day Black Friday is a nice antidote to that. It’s about going into your local shop, having a proper browse and coming away with a record you’ll actually value.”

With more than 300 independent record shops across the UK and Ireland taking part, this year’s event once again aims to celebrate the culture of record collecting while encouraging music fans to support local retailers.

The exclusive releases will be available from participating stores from 8am on Friday November 27. As ever, once they’re gone, they’re gone.
