One of Skegness’s biggest employers is ramping up recruitment ahead of the busy summer season – with more than 100 jobs up for grabs.

The town’s popular Butlins resort – known for its famous Redcoats – will host the event on site, giving jobseekers the chance to explore the wide range of roles on offer.

The open day will also have a dedicated children’s entertainment area on hand, allowing parents and carers to chat to recruiters without worrying about childcare.

Among the roles on offer are more than 60 Team Member Plus positions, ideal for those looking to build experience across different parts of the business. These busy role pay £13.21 per hour and combine accommodation cleaning duties on Mondays and Fridays with work in other departments such as catering, restaurants and leisure for the rest of the week.

Butlin’s is also recruiting across a variety of teams, including chefs, lifeguards, resort safety staff, as well as buffet and bar shift managers.

Resort Director Andrew Leivers said the open day was about more than filling vacancies.

“As Butlin’s celebrates turning 90 this year, it’s a great opportunity for people to learn about our culture and values, and what makes us such a special place to work,” he said.

“With more than 1,300 team members, Butlin’s Skegness is a fantastic place to start or grow a career in hospitality, and we’re proud to work closely with the local community to make opportunities accessible to all.”

The recruitment day takes place on Thursday, January 15, from 12pm to 4pm, and is free to attend.

Pre-registration available online at https://jobs.butlins.com or on arrival. For more information, visit the Butlin’s Careers website.
